Less than a week from today, everyone who pre-ordered will be playing the Left 4 Dead demo. We know! We can’t believe it either. To make the wait easier, we’ve released
the five minute movie that opens the game. Caution: The movie may actually make the wait more difficult. Also just released is
a 30-second TV spot, coming soon to a major TV station near you.
If you're looking for a way to pass the time between now and Demo Release Day, you could try to win a free copy of the game (or a whole new gaming PC) by entering
our Dude Where's, My Thumb contest. All it takes is a photo of you in front of a L4D advertisement! (We'll even accept some creative photoshopping.) Can't find a billboard, or bus or jumbotron? Not a problem: There's
another contest sponsored by Fangoria. All this one requires is a picture of a zombie, created by you. Easy, right? Anyway, Happy Halloween, undead legions.
This weekend we've got two new anticipated demos coming out. Out now is
Tomb Raider: Underworld. Tommorrow (Saturday) the demo for
Football Manager 2009 (Worldwide Soccer Manager for those of us in the US) comes out.
