Introversion's latest game, DEFCON, is now available for play. DEFCON pits global superpowers against each other in all-out thermonuclear war. It's always fun to wipe out your friend in Counter-Strike, but in DEFCON you get to nuke his whole continent off the map. Pwned with kiloton yields.

We had a few people from Valve over at Microsoft's X06 event in Barcelona this past week, where they were showing Half-Life 2: Episode Two and Portal running on the XBOX 360. Check out IGN's write-up on the demo.

The preload and preorder period for Dark Messiah Might and Magic is also just around the corner. Everyone here at Valve has been playing through the game and we're incredibly excited for it to be released. This will definitely be one of the top games to come out this year. Here are some pre-release impressions from Gamespot, IGN, and Bit-Tech.

Lastly, we have a new three game Sci-Fi Pack for $29.95, which includes X3: Reunion, Shadowgrounds, and Darwinia. That will keep you busy all weekend. . .
