What are the classic and modern versions of A Week in Paradise mentioned in this version? Is that the classic mode in this Steam version or is the original mod? Is the modern version patch 5100?

Controls stopped working for no reason on my save file. When I start a new file, they work again, but I don't feel like playing through the first two days again just for this to happen again.
